What’s Skool & Why Should I Join?

Skool is an all-in-one community platform where you can teach or learn just about anything under the sun. In this case, we’re a community of authors helping each other through beta reading, support through writers block, editing fatigue, and more. Ideally, we’re a group of indie authors supporting one another while we achieve authorship one word at a time.

Do I have to be a beta reader if I join?

While it is encouraged that everyone offer to help each other from time to time, being a beta reader is not an obligation for any member. We understand that some of us are only interested in writing, while others are looking to read and offer feedback, and some of you might just be here for the marketing – and all of those things are a-okay with us!

What benefits are for free members?

Free members of the Beach Bum Authors Skool will have access to all community chats, any live networking events, coworking sessions, or webinars that may come up as we grow. You’ll also have access to anyone in the community who is offering beta reading, editing, or design and formatting services.

Can I save money by paying upfront?

Yes! The Skool platform allows you to get a discounted rate by paying for an annual membership. This is best for those with an upfront budget and long term collaborative promotional needs.

Do you have an affiliate program?

Within our online guest management system, you’ll find a user-friendly “Invites” section. You can either manage it yourself or allow us to take care of it for you.
